New York, April 28, 2015 – Mode Media, the 7th largest U.S. media property with 155 million monthly uniques in the U.S. (comScore) and 406 million monthly users worldwide today introduced Mode Video—a new digital video streaming service integrated in the new Mode social platform and a new roster of original programming at its 2015 IAB NewFronts presentation in New York City. Mode Media reaches 21 million monthly unique video viewers, is #2 in lifestyle video, #15 in video reach among non-YouTube properties and ranks #21 among all of the Top 100 U.S. video properties.

Mode brings users an unparalleled personalized digital video experience that answers the question: “what videos should I watch?”—while addressing the needs of video producers and brands: “how can you deliver a large number of targeted native video views?”

Mode Video is a new native in-feed service that provides direct streaming of digital videos to consumers across multiple delivery formats, allowing professional video studios, content owners, video stars and Mode Studios to stream original content, sponsored series and branded entertainment directly to users.

Mode is launching today with over 200 million monthly in-feed native views for video delivered through Mode Stories, enabling immediate distribution and audience for professional video and branded entertainment. At today’s NewFronts presentation, Mode is demonstrating the power of its platform by distributing a new video series featuring YouTube star, Meghan Rienks, to more than one million native video views.

Mode Video includes a service to upload professional original videos that are streamed directly to consumers in Mode’s video player. In addition, professional critics, curators and experts can embed videos from major services like YouTube, Vimeo or their own video sites to Mode Stories. Further, movies and TV shows can be curated to play in the content owner apps, such as, Apple iTunes, AppleTV, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu—bringing the simplicity of music playlist apps like Beats Music and Spotify to digital video.

For brands, Mode is introducing the largest canvas for native stories—Mode Branded Story—bringing together the interactivity of TV and the emotion of print to digital. Branded stories with video can be distributed by the Mode native in-feed service, targeting users in feeds at scale for content marketing. Mode now has a full video product suite including native pre-roll, native video distribution, custom branded video content and editorial series sponsorship and integration.

“Through this platform, Mode created a one-stop solution for the world’s leading brands to safely and efficiently create compelling branded content, distribute in-feeds, and place premium ads – enhancing their ability to reach today’s consumer natively with video and content at scale,” said Dan Lagani, president and CRO of Mode Media. “We have a long history of helping content creators monetize their content, and today with the and Mode Stories App, we are launching curated videos and native content distribution at scale.”
