Former Ad Pepper Media Chairman & CEO to Lead Mode Media’s Growing Ecosystem of Brand Advertisers, Content Creators and Consumers
BRISBANE, Calif. – January 15, 2014 – Mode Media Corporation. (http://corp.mode.com), a leading vertical social media company with the largest online global reach in lifestyle, today announced Ulrich Schmidt has joined the company as SVP, GM, Glam Germany and Europe Market Development. He will be based in Munich reporting directly to Jack Rotolo, Executive Vice President, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Schmidt is a digital media and advertising pioneer. He founded ad pepper media in 1999, an international digital marketing services and technology solutions provider that manages campaigns for thousands of national and international advertising clients in more than 50 countries, and is publicly traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. As Chairman and CEO of ad pepper media for 13 years, Mr. Schmidt scaled operations to 16 companies in eight European countries and the USA. Prior to ad pepper media, Schmidt founded ADTECH AG, and also led sales and marketing for leading publishing houses in the ‘90s.
At Mode Media, Mr. Schmidt will develop and execute Mode Media’s go-to-market strategy aligning to the digital marketing objectives of the leading advertisers and agencies in Central Europe. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for all revenue, publisher and sales operations as well as brand and agency development.
