DoubleClick Veteran to Advance Glam’s Global Expansion
NEW YORK—September 7, 2007 — Mode Media (corp.mode.com), the number one ranked women’s web property and distributed media company, today announced that Ralf Hirt will join the company as Vice President, International. In this position, Mr. Hirt, formerly the Vice President of Operations & Strategic Partnerships for DoubleClick, will drive Mode Media’s international development strategy.

Originally a native of Germany and a U.S. resident, Mr. Hirt held various management positions at DoubleClick in New York, Hong Kong, Sydney and London, including Vice President of Operations and Strategic Partnerships, Managing Director Asia Pacific and Director of the Board for DoubleClick Japan K.K. During his time in Asia Pacific, Mr. Hirt also served as a director of the board of the ADMA, Asian Digital Marketing Association, and chaired the “Standards and Practices Committee.”
Mr Hirt is the author of 8W8 – Global Space Tribes (to be released in November 2007) and co-authored Infrastructure & Productivity in Asia, Palgrave Press.
